Movement button issue

Found some small problems with the movement button. I use an android galaxy note and I've noticed that there's plenty of times when the button doesn't respond, usually resulting in death- and what's even more troublesome- is the fact that moving directly left or right makes the character run, but ANY other direction (up, down, and all the diagonals) leaves the character moving significantly slower as if through sludge. It's notably slower, and the companion during the diagonal paths do strange wobbly runs flip-flopping side to side like they can't figure out which direction I'm going.

I uses a galaxy S6 and I do have a slight sensitivity issue with my d-pad as well. Sometimes my character will move slower in the other directions too, but its intermittent. TBH it may have something to do with the way the screens are designed on the galaxy devices, regarding the sensitivity of the buttons.
