Misplaced Devotions Quest

I am having a problem with the "Misplaced Devotions" Quest. Before I started the quest, I had already found and sold the pearls. Will the pearls respawn? If not, how can I complete the quest?

If words fail then violence is the answer.

Though I'm not really sure if you can choose the violent path if you already start the diplomatic path.
In that case you might need to have to wait until David adds more areas that might have another pearl in it.

No, only the two as far as I know. I found another way to get a pearl.

So if we choose not to kill him will we be able to betray his necromancer friends during a quest in the future and ruin their plans? For that reason I haven't finished that quest.
