Mirmek Nest is impossible to get destroyed

Hey there, did anyone can help me out.
I can't destroy the first Mirmek Nest.
(The Quest for Sheryl and this ummm racist Nisor Its pooping out new Mirmeks but isn't even scratched.
I even tried reloading but I haven't set a permanent save because it is early in the game.

Is the quest Hunting Bugs active? What does your journal say?

That mirmek nest can't be destroyed until the quest is active. That's to prevent people from destroying it before the quest starts. But once the quest is started, it should be able to be killed. Note: It will take two rounds of bashing to kill it for good.

If the quest is active (and the journal says that, too) AND the nest still won't die, than try loading an area auto-save from one you first entreed the map. Leave. Exit the game and re-load. That should reset the map.
