While the game is paused when viewing the local map, time seems to flow normally upon switching to the world map.
I noticed this because my party was in the process of suffocating when I opened the world map (for no specific reason). After viewing it for a few seconds, the game over screen appeared. So time must have passed in the meantime.
Not a big deal and probably meaningless in almost every other situation, but I wanted to report it nonetheless.
