Minor bugs with "Justice from Above" (SPOILERS)

A few oddities I encountered during this quest:
  • When you climb the hill, the journal updates to "Error".
  • When you take the items from the nest one by one, the journal doesn't update. If you take them by hitting "Take All", the journal updates.
  • The empty corpse at the bottom of the hill can only be interacted with once. After that, no more interaction is possible.
(Not sure if this corpse has anything to do with the quest at all or if it was there before and I never noticed it. Just mentioning it because the one-time interaction is unusual.)

I'm playing on 391 and I still have the weird corpse with no loot that you can only interact with once when going down.
So this isn't fixed yet.

Also, another minor bug that wasn't mentioned here.
If you drop down before looting the nest, the quest ends up in a limbo state.
Because it was a one way trip up, you can never get to the nest again to loot it, and you can't turn the quest in either.
Maybe there is an alternative way to complete the quest, but in that case I just haven't found it.

As a side note, maybe you can add some dialog with the relevant traders about the robberies when you talk to them?
This would both serve as an indicator for the player that they are looking in the right direction when looking into this quest and add some more flavor, since it is a bit weird that Myrelle has absolutely nothing to say about her stolen wares.

The corpse should really work like any container, is it not the case? saves please.

I should probably add a trigger, making the quest fail if you go down without looting the nest.

and indeed I had planned to add a few other convos about the burglaries, but wanted the beta out this morning. will be added tomorrow.

A save file for the weird corpse has been sent.
However, I noticed that reloading a save file, resets the interactability of the corpse, so to replicate the issue, you'll have to interact with the corpse, close the window and then try to interact with the corpse again.

Apart from the problems with interaction, is there a deeper meaning to this corpse?
Should he represent someone who tried to climb the hill (trying to reach the nest) and fell to his death?
Just wondering because it's quite unusual to find a dead (already decaying) body within the city bounderies.

The game doesn't provide a clear answer but, if you have found his items, I think you can deduct who he was and what he was doing there, and how the issue with the raven started.

Regarding the interaction, I think it is behaving normally as any corpse: once looted completely, it is no longer interactive. Or it is not the case? did it become non-interactive without giving you a chance to loot it?

No, I guess this "bug" was just a misinterpretation on my end.
The only other corpses that are laying around in game that aren't killed by the player are skeletons, and those are infinitely interactable.

I don't remember finding any items from him, as he doesn't carry anything on his corpse, but maybe I'll have another look around then.

I managed to reproduce the issue with your save, definitely something is wrong here. Working on it.

got it, a duplicated ID issue, stupidly copied and pasted from the corpse of Arran in the crypt, so if you had already looted it, this container was empty. Apologies!
