Member of Church but not able to get into Hall of Wisdom

Greetings, comrades.

My first post here. I discovered this game last month, since then bought both the Android and the Steam version, currently on Steam. Been using the wiki and the Forum extensively but decided to join the Forum today!


First off, what a great game! What depth of gameplay and mechanics! Hats off to the developers, to David, who I see is so active in the Forum, amongst others. My money has been well spent!

Back to my first ever question: so, I'm playing a cleric that has just completed the 3 vs 11, joined the Church and accidentally, while exploring, got teleported to the Hall of Wisdom, and just as accidentally, got sent out to Nivarian. But when Cleric tries to get in, the Guardian says, you cant enter without enough rep with both Illmara and Church.

The wiki says either this or being a member. So what am I missing?

Thanks in advance for the answers that are bound to come.

PS: I did try sleeping in the Inn for 12 hrs.

I believe you still need 40 rep with Ilmara regardless

Huh! so the only way to get in is to teleport in from New Garand? Or do Townhall quests to gain rep!!
