Meecenaries level stuck

I'm now lvl 13 but mercenaries i hire for more and more money are still lvl 7 si they die easily. I wonder if there is a way to make them stronger .

No se pueden hser más fuerte por esa razón ahí conpoñeros que si se pueden haser mas fuerte los mercenarios son útiles al inicio y ya en lugar de usar los mercenarios es mejor un compañero o invocar criatura par que te protegan

No. Mercenaries are not worth hiring. There are a few situations in which they could be a little useful but not for average game play by the average player. In contrast, main Companions (Griss, Adaon, Hirge) are great.

The game was developed over years. The idea of mercenaries for temp hire wilted as Companions and other stuff were added to the game.
