Maze of Lamth?

I have just run through the maze and the nearby area hunting minotaurs and after 10 complete runs I am noticing a drastic reduction in their treasure drops.
I can no longer find any bluesteel axes nor any other treasure worth the effort.
Did you weaken the treasure drops?
All I seem to get from the maze now is empty chests and micro amounts of gold.
So I say what the heck?
Did you lessen the drop rates ? If so please return them to their original usefulness.

I had noticed reduced drops there in the last couple of runs, but it was a real money pit in the past and could probably benefit from being nerfed a bit - I can farm over 20k gold there in an afternoon, so it makes gold a non-thing after a while, especially when I can clear the whole thing without needing to heal.

I'll go run through the Maze ten times and see what I get - will get back to you soon :)

I have been doing it all day with the same results.
I think it was done during the updates as I have not done the maze since before the updates.

...yes, there definitely appears to be a reduction in Bluesteel weapons - my ratio of steel to bluesteel drops was 8/1, while before I could load up with a majority of bluesteel. Orcslicer seems to have disappeared as a drop too, or become ultra rare. I seemed to get more armour drops though, blessed chain and forest chain, and a bunch of recall scrolls, but a noticeable reduction in bluesteel for sure. Maybe this is in preparation for the lower levels opening up?

I did some grinding in there too. I noticed that some run throughs I wouldnt get many axes (either kind) and other times I would run out of inventory room. there is a randomness to it.

I have now done it 30 times with no bluesteele drops nor any Orcslicers.
Most of the actual minotaurs now only drop gold or minotaur horns.

Well it's time to move to the royal crypt! I normaly get about 6k gold or more in there each run and like 6k xp but I'm using boosters

I can confirm that the drop rate for the item in question has been modified.

It went from "Found in the collections of museums. (Rare)" to, "You think you saw something about this in a book once. (Very Rare)" almost borderline "No one even knew this thing existed; if you were to talk about it, even having it to show them, people still think you are lying. (Extremely OMG Rare)"

It also appears the drop rate of Steel Greataxes went up slightly as well I believe. So depending on how David has the drop rate and the number of items per mob coded... it could make a significant difference pushing the Bluesteel Greataxe all the way into the later category.

I cannot speak as to why David made the decision to change the item... He is the Creator and perhaps it was meant for balancing... Gold is not truly meant to be something easy to obtain after all...

I can also confirm, in regards to the Imperial sword Orcslicer, that no changes were made to the drop rates... They are still in the "Found in the collections of museums. (Rare)" category for both types of chests within the Maze.
