it's a good idea to share your level/class and approximate build so people can advise you where to go. Normally you shouldn't be using potions.

I'm level 10 warrior on normal difficulty. I also have a level 8 cleric. I seem to use loads of potions during battles, especially in dungeons. I do tend to go toe to toe with monsters, should I be more mobile during battles? I'm hooked on the game, I may have to give up my job and all of my relationships to pay more lol

Welcome to EKHolics Anonymous. Around that range, I would be doing the Maze or areas around Freetown. Remember to run away when health is low and gear up with good defense.

As stated earlier, the minotaurs are an excellent source of gold. Fight as long as you can but never resort to using potions.

Minotaurs have high defense so a 2H build with high damage may overcome their defenses easier, since their going to die faster, the potential for you to take damage is lower. I have ran that maze a billion times going toe to toe with them.

Finally give Adaon a bow so his ranged attack will pull the enemy towards you. When the minotaur gets close, Bash him and don't close the distance, instead let your rogue ping him a few extra times. This tactic will prevent them from overwhelming you and wears them down so you will last longer. Also give Adaon Kick. This is the rogues version of a Bash, and this tactic works twice as well.

Some Tips on engagements

-Leave your companion behind doors and walls and lead people in to them
-Use potions as last resorts only (so death prevention)
-For tombs use Hirge as your companion, built in heals and bonuses against undead
-Make sure you have levelled up extra recovery at least once
-Only run the dungeon to the limit of your recoveries, then rinse repeat

Some dungeons that can make good cash at that level

-Minotaur's north of Jabal
*Save a power attack for when the minotaur is low on health to avoid Fury
*Watch the traps

-The tolassian tomb in the Desert south west of New Garand
*Hirge is your friend here
*Death resistance is helpful
*Again watch the traps

Thanks for all the advice.

The minotaur Maze is good for getting cash for sure. I suppose I was using potions because I didnt want to leave any of the dungeons. Since backing out once I get to my last regen Ive definately made more cash and leveled up quicker. I have done loads of the TH quests too, it was good for geting cash and less monotonous.

Anyone got any tips for defeating the dragons?
I also finally beat the earth elemental around crimson hills and then walked into the rooms full of monsters.... I wana be higher level.. NOOWWWW

At level 10 you'll have better luck killing the Ice dragon. Load up on resistance, pop a giant strength for u and companion to start the fight, then bash away, using potions to heal up whoever is taking the brunt of the damage. Try to keep ur comp alive as long as possible as things can go south quick solo at that level.
