Magical research should require being able to cast spells.

Currently it only requires 5 int. Kind of silly getting it as an option of Garren

Correct me if I am in error, but one still needs to have the correct Discipline to learn a spell from Magical Research, so it really is a dead end talent for non-magical users???

Yes that is correct. Which is part of why it should require being able to cast a spell. Like mighty spells does.
