Mage Mana Help

I have noticed that some of the Mage builds posted on the forum have mana in the 400-500 range. I have even seen one with over 500 mana. I am currently a level 14 Mage with 186 mana. I have Mana Surge maxed at level 3 and an IQ of 5, and my mana is only increasing 10 points per level. I realize that as I continue to level up, I will be increasing IQ and finding better armor with higher mana stats, but I still don't see how I will ever get my mana much over 300. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks.

That's easy

Traits:
INT:+1/lvl means with 11 int => 11/lvl, lvl 20= +220
PER 2 points =>+1/LVL, LVL 20 with 5 points => +50
Mana surge 3 => +3/lvl, lvl 20 => +60
Items ≈ +70
----
=>+400

PS: my character don't have mana surge 3 and is lvl 21, took lvl 20 for math Because it's easier

PER also grants mana... a PER of 5 at level 20 is another 50 mana for a mage. feel free to post your level 14 build if you need more help.

No, only 50 (or 40, not sure how it rounded)

Each 2 points gives +1/lvl for mage

Not really a shame, if you would spend as much time as the players for playing, there won't be any progress in development

Never take the "drug" you sell (or at least not that much as the customers)

Huh, so staying in the middle isn't useless? I thought you'd need to get even numbers for a benefit from PER as a Mage or INT as a Cleric. In that case what about AWA for ranged damage and armor?
