Mage class

I've been playing the game for awhile now and I simply love the game. But my favorite class to play is the mage in any game. So was just wandering if anyone had a guess as to when the mage might become available. I'm not trying to rush it, cause I know alot has to go into creating everything needed for it to be right. Just wandering is all.

David has said that the mage class will not be implemented until after Version 0.9.

So... what to say without giving away too much of what David is working on...

ok... the release (partial for 0.9) David is working on was planned to go live sometime this week... looks like middle of next, assuming more does not get added.... it is a very complex and interconnected release... some of it paves the way towards the mage. However, if I had to guess, I would not expect to see that class for at least a few more months. I know it is a pre-1.0 release goal... but there are a lot of moving parts to get it to happen. And then lots and lots of debugging...
