I am a Level 8 warrior tank-style (only leveling end now, heaviest armor, shield) and in constant need of money.
What can I do to earn money without putting myself into danger? I play hardcorestyle, ie if I die, i would start again at level 1. So I dont want to hunt trolls or dragons yet...

Most secure way at this point would be the orc lair, as long as you are aware of the middle of the map, since there are many mobs and the orc king.
Next step would be the minotaur cave, but be aware of the traps...

You should be familiar with all the major farming dungeons. So it is more a matter of where you can run most efficiently (few potions/good time balance). I'm guessing you blast thru a lot potions to ensure you don't die, so I'll recommend my little run I did around that level: (avoid using any potions during these runs)
Start in KB, head out south down the coast towards the orc lair grabbing any red orchids you find, clear the outer loop of the lair, head back to KB, grabbing any red orchids on the east exit side, then decision time:
1) if you're in good shape, press on into the bandits lair. Main goal here is milk your recoveries/life bar as low as you dare. At least try to clear the wolf cage, as it has decent sellable loot. Recover at inn when you have nothing left
2) Bad shape, rest up, and repeat.

Eventually you'll have a good number of red orchids and instead of a bandit run, head back to Lannegar. Rest, then run the valley to gather as many blue. Trade what you can with Markus for mod potions, then get back to KB and repeat as you like. You save 150 each potion, and can eventually amass enough to head to harder areas and run thru your stash.

I recommend Minotaur dungeon. The Bluesteel axe, steel axe, and some gems from them are awesome.

Thanks alot for the advice...Typically I try not to use potions normally - but i have many medium and large potions for the emergency (I already collect red and blue orchids for potions). Indeed I can handle orcs well - so I will farm their lair next. I also have been in the bandids lair but there I burn through some potions. So maybe I wait 2 levels before farming it.

you think Minotaurs are doable for me as level 8 with the Rogue as companion? Because death for means to start the game again, I only attack enemies that I surely can defeat...

you can always try and run. Just beware spike traps, the bane of all iron men.

I dont know fully about Warrior's routes cuz I raise lvl17 cleric and lvl9 ranged rogue but for my rogue with hard difficulty, I clear the dungeon of Minotaurs and Nehkar Valley where lvl 10 legions and lvl 14 decurion deserters wander around along with Grissenda.

Of course it'll be harder work for the warrior cuz it fights close but try to lure one by one. Then you can save your potions. Also push forcely your companion to check the traps in the dungeon.

If you still feel hard for those areas, then try orc lair located on the Southern Blumist River, where you can go through Kingsbridge area. It definetely gives less money than 2 areas I refered, but it must be far safer.
