Question on leveling up;

My rogue is currently level 17:

Strength 4
Endurance 4
Agility 5
Intellect 1
Awareness 3
Personality 1
4 unallocated trait points

Skills:

Stab - max
Evasion - II
Stealth - II
Assassinate - max
Precision strikes - max
Massive criticals - max

I was hoping to get flurry but when I was on Agility - 4 realised that buying the rogue belt (plus 2 Agility) still didn't allow me to train for this - so it must be a base level 6 requirement rather than including equipment bonuses....so I'm saving the trait points to get to level 6.

Anyway, real question is this - the FAQ says there's no level up cap, just goes very slow after level 20. But something I've noticed is that in earlier stages of the game a level up would give me both trait and skill points. This is no longer the case - since (I guess) level 14 or 15 I've got trait points but no additional skill points. Is this right? Can I get more skill points? If not I suppose I may have to think about spending the trait points - no point holding onto them to meet the skill requirements if I can't get more skills.....

Why 4 str ? cus of granting hit point for each level ?
Imo 2 Str will be enough, at least in my build.
Remember, agility is your main trait..

And can you share about your items, ac and dps too ? for my curiosity..

Currently the in game soft/hard caps for character levels is 20/25. So at level 20 you will be able to complete all content,but you may go on to lvl 25 if you wish.

You should still be getting trait and skill points when leveling up. They scale,so as you go up in levels the amount you receive should decrease respectively. After level 20,it takes huge amounts of xp to level up. That's why it goes so slow from that point. Wisdom srolls can help this some.

Your point distribution looks pretty good. I am inclined to agree,I would set base agility at 6, then you will be up to 8 with the Girdle of the rogue. I would set intelligence and awareness at 2. This should help you pass any in game checks. Endurance and is a bit high. I would set it at 2. I would also consider personality 3. In case you want bloodlust.

STR4 END2 AGI 6 INT2 AWA2 PER1

The above configuration should leave you about +6 floating points you can use towards your next advanced skill. If my calculations were correct.

In my opinion you could reroll once now and switch these things around or keep going a couple levels and reroll again when you hit lvl 20. A reroll is about the only way you'll get where you want to be,question is do you do it now or later?

Thanks both.

Cainus - yes Strength 4 for the extra damage. Think it makes the massive criticals even more effective but I could be wrong about that. I didn't include equipment and DPS info because it varies - I tend to switch between weapons and armour a fair bit depending on who the bad guys are....can still post if you really want it.

Don Desini - cheers. Very helpful. But a bit of an update...

Just after I posted I hit level 18. With your suggested reset this has allowed me to have;

Str 4, End 2, Ag 6, Int 2, Aw 2 and Per 3

Which means that with the 2 skill points that came with the level up I've been able to start both Flurry and Bloodlust as advanced skills....

I have 4 trait points left over after the reset. I am inclined to up Endurance a point - thoughts?

Glad it helped. After your new advanced skills, If you upped anything I would bring awareness up. Just my opinion.
