A few patches back, you made it so if we pushed our companion into a tap, we'd also take damage. I assume that's because people were exploiting their ability to revive and simply bulldozing their follower into certain death.

I recently noticed the Iron Golem can be pushed into a tap, avoiding all player damage. I didn't test it while he was an Earth Elemental, nor have I tested with other elementals or wolves, but I assume some or all of them have the same effect.

I've been debating whether pushing summons onto traps is good or bad for the balance of the game. Sure, using summons to clear traps might be a creative way to solve the trap problem, but a mage has to spend precious mana on the summons so there's a built-in cost. Whereas with pushing Companions onto traps, the Companions just pop back up in a few seconds with no cost to the main character.

Iron Golems are mana intensive to summon so they make pretty expensive trap dummies.....

First of all, it is an oversight on my part. But it doesn't sound too bad to hand mages a second way to deal with traps. I'll leave it as it is.
