Solved iPhone Bug: Game Crashes When Switching Maps

Game keeps crashing can’t play in the dungeon on map 1, it just kicks me off the game everytime I try to load that dungeon. Im On iOS, I remember on my android is didn’t kick me off to the main screen. I don’t know how to post screenshots.

Is only at that spot, or in other places when switching maps?

It might be related to a rare, but known bug where the game crashes at certain points. However, that bug tends to impact Apple devices rather than PC's using Steam.

What device are you using? And what version of the game (if auto-update is on Steam, than should be the most recent).

If the issue persists rather than an one-off, try turning the in-game music off and see if that helps. It could be an issue with maxing out the RAM for the game during map loading, or some weird issue. Could be. No promises.

iPhone Se generation 3, version 1.2.1118
After I logged back in turned down the music turned it back up. went through the dungeon It didn’t crash.

People who experience this bug tend to stumble across it when there's a map-change during a dialogue. So be on the look out for future such crashes, and please report them if they happen.

Brand new iPhone 14 with most recent IOS. I’ve had to re clear so many hard dungeons because of this. I often auto save right outside of dungeons because of this issue but I can’t do that after completing a dungeon. I find it happens way more often when I’m at full mana/hp after using a restore.
