Immunity?

Hello

Does having Bloodied scarf immunity cover knock back, so therefore Boots of Balance are useless while wearing the Scarf? Or no? Are they 2 separate things? It seems you always get knock back and stun as if they are one thing. And paralysis is separate from stun how? I know it says halves paralysis effects, so stun an paralyze seem like the same thing Maybe difference is the source?

Thanks.

So a follow up question would be; is Bloodied Scarf best only situationally, aka stun monsters, or is it good for an always wear piece of gear? Bc it makes my dps go down as a bow rogue by losing awareness from eyes amulet.

Stun and Paralyze are different things, same effect but paralyze is longer, 10 seconds from enemies. Not sure how long stun is. Knockback is also independent of stun.

Items that offer stun immunity dont affect paralyze or knockback. But Infantry training halves paralysis time while Battle Rage grants immunity to both. Neither affects knockback still though so you still need one of the three boots, Laminated Vest or Plexifiber Robes. In your case as a rogue it'd be a choice between Boots of Balance or Ironfoot Boots.

Though as a ranged rogue I don't think you need stun immunity or stability, stability would even be worse for you to be honest, you want to be pushed back to be able to escape. And while stun immunity is still nice it's not necessary. Just have Hirge tank for you with the Conductive Vest/Ring of Holiness. Or Grisselda/Hirge with Amulet of Dark Whispers. With stability on them aswell. Though in that case stun immunity is again not completly necessary, they can still tank while stunned, so stability would be the most important.

Knock back and stun are combined for attack but not for defense. Knock back push you away, stun freeze your character.

For armor that's 2 different things. Boots of balance will affect the push back, stun immunity will make you immune against stun and half the duration of Paralysis.

For archer build, you don't need knock back resistance, it benefits you if someone push you away. Stun immunity is a must have. For close range battle, it's better to have both.

Unless they push you into a trap or damage causing tile (gas, lava, arc orb of fun). But yeah, for the most part, push back isn't a bad thing for range attackers.

Also sometimes they push me back behind an object kind of or at a bad angle and I lose aim with my bow on the enemy which costs me dps. I think stun immunity is cool but I won't wear stability boots. I will use Bloodied Scarf I think its cool too the armor bonus is nice for neck
