What traits/skills do I use for this build, excluding the obvious Intervention. I'm also curious what guild this build should join.

Immortal cleric is just a cleric with intervention. Any build is viable, what matters is that you never have 0 mana. If you 'die', use a mana potion, then you can 'die' again 🙂. Imho this 'immortal' thing is not much to my liking, because being immortal doesn't mean you can kill enemies. I use intervention as a safety measure, usually against traps. Also intervention burns all your mana, and as we all know potions are expensive in this game, even cognac. A well balanced cleric doesn't need potions, with maxed Extra Recovery you can stay in dungeons for days. If not, then that means you are not strong enough for that dungeon, go somewhere else 😆

Here is a safe and detailed cleric build. Have fun

As stated above, the basic structure of the Immortal Cleric is Intervention 3 + Lots and Lots of Mana Potions. From there, it's player choice.

Because the Immortal Cleric build plans on repeatedly using Intervention, which will drain your mana poor, the following are decent design considerations.
1) Join Warriors Guild for Duel and Heavy Hand.
2) Don't worry about having too much mana or Health, so put a lot of points into STR.
3) Don't focus on skills that require a lot of mana, so passive or low-mana skills are preferred.

One of the more common versions on the Immortal Cleric is a build that's focused on combat (so lots of STR) with less concern about defense, mana pool, or health.

Any Cleric can add Intervention as a skill. It's useful as back-up for those tough fights or unexpected traps. The Immortal Build is designed to depend on using Intervention.

Usually the way clerics die for good is when 2 instances of damage are applied almost simultaneously. For example 2 traps in a row, or phisical damage followed by elemental damage of a mixed attack. Or being swarmed by enemies, with not enough time to press on mana potion. This is why high armor/hp/resistances are also good to have, or else you may die anyway. This is also why I think balanced cleric = best cleric 😎

Will cleric with low health(10hp), low mana(5mp) survive strong(60hp of pure damage) hit?
Maybe not, there is no reason to die after 5000 hit if you can strong(survive 60+numberondice) hit.
You can live with hp below zero not in combat. You need to have low health and unequip items that give you extra hp, or equip Dark Whispers necklace, or Battle Rage ended but:
  • you will die after you received 1 hit
  • it don't work with companions(so you can force them to revive with half of health, but do you want to kill Griss or Hirge? and it's too boring (as boring as waiting to restore 80hp))
Is David here?

Just a reminder, that discussing game exploits is against forum rules. A few posts deleted. No warning issued as it seems a reminder is the better option.
See here.

Thanks all and have a great weekend.
