My choices are for when they set of to become gods and kill the sleepers. Pretty much if we want to get purely theoretical and sorta just follow descriptions of who they are as people here are my choices:
  • Arbenos; Pretty easy seeing as he is pretty much universally known as a FIGHTER
  • Thelume; Wisdom and magic tie together quite well. Even though he could pass for a Cleric my first choice would be MAGE
  • Nivaria; Mother of the Illmaran royal family, Nivaria was quite hard as we don't see much of what she specialises in. If we are to follow the fact we are doing one character per class as of now I will consider her a CLERIC
  • Tol; The god of the Tolassians, in my opinion the strongest. Although he could equally be any class in equal measure I feel the fact he is considered a "dark" god during the lore of ek sorta throws it in the balance of thievery and exploitation. I will place him as the group's ROUGE
There you have it! I hope you enjoyed. If you have any disagreements please state your reasoning and your choices of class! Please remember this is all completely theoretical and not Lore at all!

There's nothing in-game to claim Tol is a rouge. If anything, the references to a cult like following would lean to a Cleric.... Death Cleric?

So if we're going to step outside of cannon, let's toss "NPC Merchant" as Tol's class. Can't be killed, never around when you need him, judging you for your habits.... yeah, that's a NPC Merchant.

What you wrote makes sense somehow. But about Tol... Let's verify it later.

According to some angry degenerates, they are all rogues, to put it mildly ;)
😂😂😂😂 Are they sure the play the same game as us? I don't see what makes the Three gods rogues

Keep playing, there's more to their origin than meets the eye ;)

I've just been discovering this myself

Tol was a mage!
If the source is to be believed, he's described as a "wild sorcerer" in The Oppalan Frontier.

In the book, Jorum had three friends: "a powerful war priest, a gentle cleric who acted as a healer, and the wild sorcerer." If Jorum was really Thelume, then I assume the wild sorcerer was Tol.

Also, Arbenos was not a fighter, but a "powerful war priest"!

Wait, no.. I've met Tol and realised where I've seen him before.
It's Trader Pink!
NPC Merchant theory confirmed!!

Now I got to thinking; he also sells magical items which might lead you to think he's a mage but rogues are masters of misdirection and he does business awfully close to where he can keep an eye on the comings and goings to and from New Garand sewers, especially with Adaon as another pair of eyes for him (when he's not keeping them on you directly as a companion)..

Trader Pink is Tol and the leader of the Seventh House too!
Rogue theory confirmed!!

If Jorum was really Thelume

Now I'm going to have to go and get Hirge to help me investigate the story behind that book, aren't I?
Sorry Griss, Castle Storme will have to wait a bit longer than I'd planned...

Source for this? I just went to speak with Brother Iagus about it and he gave this response -

I kept the benefit of the doubt in favour until I'd confronted Duremas to see if he gave any further clues but well, you probably know how that panned out.

@Geezer After you return the book and complete the quest, Archbishop Dilla in Nivarian's Hall of Wisdom can answer a few questions about the story. It's never been confirmed, but I think the characters Jorum and his friends were inspired by the real adventurers who became The Four, then The Three + Tol after they got in a fight or something lol.

PS: I still believe Thelume is secretly the story's big bad evil. He's the only "surviving" god, and he freaks me out loll
