Idea regarding Mage and his melee viability

Frankly I think that Mage needs some kind of melee weapons something like mage only Gswords with Arcane attribute (Staff Mastery would of course affect them :D ). This would be pretty cool basically sacrificing survivability from Str (especially with Body Development) in favor of better damage increases per trait point (Int with Staff Mastery). With such change Mage should gain access to Heavyhand and Duel or Wizard's Guild should offer some melee Advanced Skills like elemental auras covering your weapon for set amount of time and thus enchancing your attacks with respective elemental damage. Something like an actual "Thurumian Arcane Knight" not Valeran who basically is just a regular Warrior dropping Mage/Cleric heavy breastplate :eek: .
