My friend is loving this game . He's got lev 24 fighter. He's pleased all 4 enclaves and returned orb to Kingsbridge. Still can't access icemist. Any ideas.

Is the Mad Wizard quest complete by returning the Orb? That's really strange

What does the gatekeeper say when talked to? What are the dialogue options?

I can't think of any negative reputation opportunities for the wizards guild other than Mad Wizard before returning orb. If Rep is positive, and all enclave quests are listed in the Completed area of the journal, it's a mystery
