Ice Dragon on Hard Difficulty

Killed him at level 9 on my warrior. The wyrm hits seriously hard on hard.

Have you tried the Nightstalker from Dark Matters yet? Not sure who's harder.

The hardest fight yet for me has been lvl12 hard Cleric taking on Fire Dragon. No AB or SF to boost damage, Gris got pummeled early, so it just turned into an ugly street brawl, seemed like it took forever...

how can you beat the ice dragon on hard difficulty with a level 9 warrior?

I feel noobish since I can't beat him with my level 11 warrior, he has the ice resistance up high and armor but just get DPS'd out by it.... fire sword and all.

(I did beat the Archer King though, about 18 Large Pots of 90HP alone.)

Any pointers for how to kill the Ice Dragon? I am a level 15 warrior with over 315 hp swinging with Cruelty and I am barely making a scratch before it kills me. I defence pot, then attack pot , and manage to 90hp 2-3 times before it kills me.

I killed the ice dragon at 12th level by hiring one of the most expensive NPCs and basically feeding him to the dragon while Grissenda and I layed into it with Cruelty and the Vulcan Maul, both of us chugging back 90hp healing potions every time they became available. Went into the battle with protection from cold effect, and completely tooled up for anti-cold. The NPC lasted about two hits, then I made sure it was attacking Grissenda while I flanked it and got a bit lucky with Massive Criticals. Was still a very close call.

Wow I couldn't get the ice dragon but I did dark matters at lvl 6 with the rogue. I didn't know much then but I opened the jar. Trading +30 rings back and forth with adaon allong with aggro. I switched his dagger for a bow at the and so I could run down the hall sacrificing adaon but gaining me enough distance to leave combat use a recovery bringing adaon back too then going back in before he gained too much life back.

If the ice dragon is easier than that than I really haven't tried
