I talked to the golden hand in freetown, I accidently clicked a choice where the golden hand attacks me now, I have negative -40 reputation now.. is there anything else I can do to get the reputation down? I paid off 8800 debt in freetown but it's still at -40 reputation.. thanks for reading. I'm also on iron man mode..

Right now there are a couple quests to increase reputation with Golden Hand somewhat (Secrets of the Dead, Spicing Things Up), but not enough to get back to 0. Maybe future updates will see more quests dealing with them?

More players seem to attack the Golden Hand than try to be Friends with them so you're in good company. Other than slightly more challenging library visits, there doesn't seem to be too much issues with be an enemy of the Golden Hand (higher merchant prices?).
Other than that, you'd have to reload from a previous save point (from an Inn etc) or start over. Maybe a future update will have a way to bribe the Golden Hand for neutral reputation.

Iron man? I wouldn't want to try that fight on iron man, those guys are scary. But that danger is the main thing. You cannot get them friendly, so if you wanted to be friends you are out of luck, but otherwise don't worry about it.

When you select load game, besides your game file there is a yellow folder with all your saves. Just hope that one of them was before you spoke to The Conjurer. Hopefully you never slept at an inn after talking to him...
