How do you farm?

How do you actually farm, especially xp in Archaelund? After hours of playtime my party is still level 2. Is it because of their low intelligence or do i miss a xp gaining strategy? Or is the game just intended to progress that slow? I'd prefer a "faster start" tbh.

Not really a farming game.

At about Level 2, you should be well past the first dungeon, and working on the side quests. The major clusters are the Dead Valley story arc, the Bandit Story Arc, the GoodFellows, and The lost loreseekers. Each cluster covers an area and a few semi-related side quests.

Not really a farming game + no need to farm since there is a XP cap for the EA version.

Regular gameplay will bring a fair challenge in old school difficulty.

Eventually, you'll be able to do bounties and other random quests like the town hall quests in EK. But not anytime soon.

People have explained the circumstance, but to answer the question to farm you need to wait until the enemies on the beach respawn, I think it's about a week respawn time and then chase down all of the norrax and get their scales and sometimes eggs and then also take out the 3 bandits clusters that respawn. You used to be able to farm the good fellows skellys but I got them deleted by ratting them out. You'd think I'd get a holy item for such actions.

also reloading until harvesting plants is successful and selling those. They have an alright return though take a bit longer to respawn than enemies.

For xp you can go into the caves but their drops are so junk and the poison rather annoying so I don't bother.
