Help with Main Quest am Lost

I an at the part of the main quest where the. Adaon is now my companion. I have the key but am clueless of where to go or what to do. I've covered a little bit of the map in my mindless wandering so I am a lite familiar with the map

Your journal should say something about looking into a Library to research its origin. The Loreseekers happen to have one in New Garand. It is located on the western side of the city, near where Latimer is standing.

Yes I know of it, I went in there alot but it keeps saying I need to be in friendly standing with them to have any useful context. Do I need to do more city hall quests or side quests?

Nop, not city quests. Try to find loreseeker in need of help, not in the library.

Since the Library is part of the Loreseeker faction, you need to raise your rep with them.
The only current way to do that is through the Forgotten Lore quest. As luck would have it, the wiki just went live, and there is a nice walkthrough of this quest posted there.

So I may be lost, I did the lore seekers quests and am friendly with their organization. I am still stuck on "A key to the past" The quest tells me about a large library. I am there. I have 2 of the 3 doors in the library open. Anton Just tells me "greetings, my friend" and Rur'azar needs the 3 Fire Salts for the Where is Amarisa quest.

Is there where I am supposed to be currently? Most of what I read says that "A Key to the Past" is completeable but I cannot for the life of me get what I need from these guys from the library.

Give him three fire salts, tell us what happens.

He gave the choice to ask about the key/Tremadan, you picked the other one.

I am currently writing this quest up... should have prioritized it higher...will be up shortly, maybe not full detail, but enough to keep people from getting stuck.
