Been playing by myself and just found this forum recently. Can someone take a look at my guys build and tell me what you think and what needs to be change for the better please and thank you! and does he have the best armour and weapon i can get so far?

Girdle and guantlets of might don't stack... Either get better guantlets that do other fun things with better AC or get an agility boosting girdle (like the one from the trader in Freetown)

Also there are a number of items that can definitely be improved.

Great-axe of the falling stars is very good, but there are other ridiculous 2-handed weapons in the game that are at least equally good (Rancor, Permafrost Great-axe, Soul-Drinker)

Boots of Stability are better than Ice Chain (assuming you didn't get the other quest reward for clearing the polluted river quest)

Legion Leggings are better than platemail leggings

I like a lot of necklaces better than blessed necklace... But one you should consider as a 2h-warrior is Ursun Charm

Vorater Hide Mantle (which BTW needs to be updated on the wiki to add the +20 fire resist) in my opinion is better than Primaval Mantle

Ring of unlife/ ring of health/ and ring of vitality are all better (in my opinion) than Oasis Ring

Girdle and guantlets of might don't stack... Either get better guantlets that do other fun things with better AC or get an agility boosting girdle (like the one from the trader in Freetown)

My recommadation would be to either get the belt from the lady in freetown.

OR

trade the gauntlets of might for Myrosian gauntlets and upgrade your girdle to the girdle of the warrior

Ursun Charm is a rare drop from Ursuns on Nilomar Cape.

Legion leggings can be farmed from the Royal Mercian Crypt (But it will take a number of runs)

Vorater Hide Mantle drops when you kill a particular nasty vorater in the cave where you find the flame prophet.

Duel would be a really useful skill to help take down the greater deamon... But mostly my reccomendation is alot of greater healing/shielding/stength boosting potions and alot of fire resist.

Also, Permafrost Greataxe is your best bet in terms of weapons.

If you are still having difficulty don't stress it and try again later.

To add to that, if you're already able to out damage or stop his healing, you should be able to outlast him with a good supply of potions of lesser restoration. Assuming you've got the basics like fire resistance and armor taken care of, just keep using your Potions of greater healing whenever they're off cool down, and pop a potion of lesser restoration whenever your hp dips below half. It might not feel like a fair win, but it gets the job done.

For the Legion Leggings, you only have to search the sarcophagi in the crypt. IIRC, I've only ever found them there.

They are accessible using ruby keys. Take a ruby key (there are 3 of them in the game to date) to the door that shares a number with it and prepare for a boss fight.

where can you get a ruby key? and is every door different? which door should i open first?
