Grissenda Companion Quest stat point rewards. Do they respec?

If I'm not mistaken it says a one-time only reward of 2 and 1 stat points. Do you lose those when respeccing or no?

The Companion gets additional points after finishing quest. That points are only for that companion and it doesn't matter if you use him or send him away afterwards.

As far as I know it is permanent, you can reset your companion without worrying that the points might get lose.
