I've found2 of the 3 golden applesin the crimson hills area next to the shores of lake navarian * . Where would I look to find more golden apples? I've walked through crimson hills enough to see another apple but no luck.

Kill the giants, they drop them. The chests likely have them, too. Check the wiki, it has that info.

Um...Ive already found the tree. It had one and either the pile of bones or the dead enemy I killed has one on them. I have not found any apple in any chest in crimson hills. There is no way I will kill a lvl 15 hill giant. I'm lvl 10 rouge ..should there really be lvl 15 giants in this area? Nothing I have or could find will hurt a giant

The game does not tell you where you can and cannot go... if the monsters are too high, obviously the area is either not meant for you, your build is not balanced correctly, or you need to upgrade your gear. Mind you, level 10 versus 15 is not likely a fair fight without serious optimization...

The northern area is designated as a harder area similar to the northern part of N. Sagar Forest where you find wyvern instead of regular wolves. Which means that Easy as Pie is meant for players level 13+.

As for the apples,
the tree is a respawnable container. After you have gotten the first two (one from the corpse near the tree, one from the tree, return to N. Bluemist, save, load, then run to the tree again to get your last apple.

Your welcome. Glad I could help. Sorry if you went to the wiki and that quest was unfinished.
