How to? get mana potions in early game?

Heyya, i'm a lv9 rogue specialized in stab skill, still early in the game, and i want to use Hirge as my companion. Can someone tell me where to get mana pots reliably and consistently? Doesn't matter if it's lesser mana pot or regular mana pot. From what i've seen in the wiki, you either side with jethro to access the golden hand guild (which i didn't) or go to icemist (which is far away.. and probably dangerous for now).

The last resort i'm thinking is to farm them somehow. If anyone know where to farm it, i'll be thankful. If not then... i'll just go with griss for now.

Deepfrost Cognac is sold in every wizard tower, cheap but unstackable. It works good for me.

I think you can still get in to the Golden Hand if you give 2 books from Secrets of the Dead to the Golden Hand.

Otherwise Deepfrost Cognac which you can grind into (stackable) Whitetower Special, prior to you admission into Icemist (needs all 4 Wizard's Tower quests done).
