Game terminates while loading, Win10x64

Broken savegame/saveslot maybe? Have you tried another save slot from same savegame? Or are you talking about the game menu?

If it just the menu, maybe reinstall?

I have not been able to run the game at all. I have started it from steam, with steam connection, and from folder, with and without steam connection. It doesn't load.

I have tried reinstalling. I will presently try reinstalling it again, but after that I suppose we're in "expecting different results" territory.

Yeah, still same failure, same log text. Is there any kind of dependency that would require downloading additional runtimes or whatever the cool kids use these days?

Or perhaps some kind of debug mode to give more information on the failure?

Especially this part:

Create a text file called init.ini in the game folder, with this content:

height=720
width=1280
fullscreen=0

and then try to open the game again. If it fails, post again the log file please. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

As you already have init.ini file, just copy content there, it will try to go to windowed mode. Also, do you have OpenGL 3.2 or higher?

I checked the graphics properties, and no, it seems I do not currently have a PC supporting OpenGL 3.2 ... sorry about that. I forgot that just because it can run on my tiny phone, doesn't mean my PC will have what it takes.

Now I feel old. Anyway, thanks a lot for the help, all. I will wait until I get a chance to upgrade my hardware.
