Game crashes randomly at Inn

Google Nexus 7
Android 5.1.1

The game randomly but semi-regularly crashes when staying at an Inn--sometimes without saving, sometimes with saving. Occurs MUCH more often if the device is in power saving mode. Unsure if power save mode on the device limits processing power which is maxed at save and thus triggers a crash? Easy solution has been to quick save before resting at an Inn.

Game is typically played with wifi off and thus disconnected from Google Play etc.

I'm not sure if it will solve problem for you, but in my case I usually need to reboot my device from time to time. Rebooting helps "reset" android in right way. You can give it a try and see if it helps you also.

I have a similar issue it doesn't crash very often. I am on a pre-paid plan and when I don't have credit EK tries to connect to google play then when it can't the whole screen graphics shudder and the game freezes up for a few seconds then comes good most of the time sometimes it will crash. this happens even if I have play services off. It occurs a few minutes after loading and after save and quit but before exiting. maybe it has something to do with google play since you said you had your device was not connected to the net??

If you disable Google Play Services from the main menu, the game never tries to connect to the internet, ever.

thats not so I have it disabled from main menu and the issue arises a few minutes into game play, after it sorts itself out my toon will run off in whatever direction it was last pointing at until it hits something solid. galaxy s4 Australia, Optus carrier. I do have a few strange issues with my phone and carrier also so this may cause other problems that no else runs into. (when someone calls me their number doesn't appear even when they are in my contact list and vise -versa ) it doesn't effect game play too much and most of the time hitting the "back" button sorts it out but it does happen!!!!!!

I also have been experiencing random crashes sometimes when saving at inn's but could possibly happen during any loading screen. Quick save has been my best friend . I play on hard and sometimes crashes when trying to exit dungeons with a backpack full of treasure! I have recently started playing on a nextbook tablet Android 6.0.1. I almost always play offline and is the reason why I play this great game. But it does get annoying having full pockets being only able to save outside. Game gets all lagy, move button sticks sometimes run sometimes just pauses. I used to play on a Galaxy grand prime never had a problem .

My advice is: reboot your device when it happens. It helps me.

Problem is in memory (I have 1GB of RAM) and how Android manages it. Crash is just when buggy Android can't keep it running.

Devices with more stable Android versions and more RAM will have no at all or less frequent crashes.

On android, yes, an ocassional reboot can fix those issues. Also sometimes a reinstall (backup to a file and cloud first)
