Forum PM issues

I am having trouble sending forum PMs to other members and moderators. I tried to report this issue through the "Contact Us" function and failed as well (due to the inability to add a subject to the report). I have found acquaintances from another game and tried to PM them here. When I send a PM, it appears it sends as normal but then goes to my outbox instead of sent messages. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks for any help!

1) I have received several "Message deleted by author" notices from you. Since the messages were deleted, there's no way to respond.

2) "Sent" and "Outbox" are loosely the same. Click "Submit" on the buttom of a message and it will get to where it's going. No need to get complicated about it.

3) Lastly, try to keep the discussion on the public forum. Excessive use of PM's can become problematic.

It's normal that the PM remains in your Outbox until the recipient goes online. As soon as he or she receives the message, it will be moved to your Sent folder. So nothing to worry about.

Thanks guys, I appreciate you clearing this up for me. I did not understand how that system worked and could not find anything when I searched support threads. I was under the assumption that "Outbox" was unsent/pending and "Sent Messages" had gone through properly. Feedback much appreciated and very helpful.
My apologies for any issues/confusion.

Happy New Year!

This is just the way phpBB (software of this forum) functions with PMs.

When you sent it, PM goes to outbox. It just means you have sent it and it still hasn't been read. It helps you know when user will read it, because when PM has been read, it goes to sent messages folder.

You only need to wait for users to read your PMs, if you delete them, they can't.

I guess this system how PMs work is something that confused you.
