[FIXED] [Spoilers] Stuck in house in New Garand, please help

[abstractsense]

I'm currently stuck in the Magistrate's house. I found my way out of the dungeon, then went immediately back to the house. When I try to exit, I see "Stay in the house. I am not done here yet." The house is only two rooms with one interactable object, a corpse (edit: also a chest!). The corpse brings up a dialog box with 2 options ("It's a waste of time.." and "Search him anyways".) I've tried both options. Nothing seems to give progress, and I can't leave. I don't have a recall scroll. :?: :idea:

Please help!

This is a known bug yes, happens when you enter the house without carrying the letter. It is already fixed for next update, which I will upload tonight; but if you want a fast fix, make a backup in the Continue menu, and email me the file using the "support" red button. Or if you saved outside, you can just reload.
