First thoughts

I've played for just over an hour and I'm liking it so far. The first thing that stood out to me is the fact that I can't put the game in windowed mode though. Could one of the future updates include this?

Beyond, that it's a pretty fun game. I find myself standing around a lot though waiting for my hp to regen. Are there items in the game that give you lifesteal or life on hit? Or is this going to be a large part of the game?

There is, if you choose casual difficulty level

There aren't any lifestealing powers available, but there are healing spells possesed by cleric companion, and shrine clerics. Until you can afford those, resting at the inn is the best solution, and still quite good later on
