Fire Drake Scale is not dropping.

i have done run for fire drakes 5 times and got 1 Fire Drake Scale it droped 1st time and after any tryes i got nothing.

in a period of few days.

Took about 10 or 15 attempts into Gorx Lair/ Deep Cauldron , killing as many fire drakes as I could before warping back to town. Maybe 60 drakes or so in total, which makes it about an observed drop rate of ~8%. One on trip, I got 2, and on about 11 trips, didn't get one at all. Didn't complete the dungeon, just went drake hunting each time.

I might increase the drop rate, unfortunately missed this for this update, sorry.

I know its frustrated but there more places where it drops ( abbey / hellisch cave i found at least 1 each run.. you might wanna loot there.

Drop rate is good for me or it get to easy like 290 wolfpelts bear pelts, troll pelts they do really drop way to much....

Its cash btw by the varannari so for the one that needs cash wolfs do the jobs. ( because its a stackeble item and there 1 hit kills and they are really everywhere. )

Too low of a drop rate can be frustrating, but too high of a drop rate ruins the quest-like aspects of hunting them down.

I think my experience, an observed 8% drop rate is fine. My comment was to help the original poster. Given the benefits of the shield, it's worth a few trips .

In abbey you get arround 1 scale each 10 to 12 dragons so that technically 7-10% drop rate its fine for me just go to abbey and your garantie for scales.

It is worth noting that tye Abbey and hellish cave are probably too challenging to try and get to for a level 9ish adventurer. I found the abbey challenging at level 17.

It is worth noting that tye Abbey and hellish cave are probably too challenging to try and get to for a level 9ish adventurer. I found the abbey challenging at level 17.

Well... leave it then the dragon scale quest in free town can also be done later and is no need because of 1 item.... youll never gonna use anyway
