Fire dragon - location and more fire resistance

Hi all,

Firstly I'm struggling to find the fire dragon, I understand he is in the deep cauldron but after clearing the lvl and using loads of detection scrolls I'm getting nowhere. I did read a post about where it was but couldn't understand it

Second, where can I get good equipment for fire resistance? I've got one ring +20 and some plus 10 but that is it

Dragon is located in Deep Cauldron. From entrance, head right when you can, kill wyvern, at fork, keep east. You will see flames in the corner there. The door is behind the flames.

Where is deep cauldron?

Inside Gorx Lair (NW Sagar Forest). The back fire river can be walked through to the north. The fire continues on the other side, so keep moving.
