Beat the lantern, my first attempts last week didn't have a chance because I built the characters all wrong, then this week with the change in consumption cost, the increase in healing cost, and the increased armor penalty so garette can't wear the brigandine chest it was still pretty much impossible. A few days ago I realize scrolls don't cost WP. So after spending time saving up and buying a bunch of scrolls I was finally able to beat it. Also used like 9 potions.
Something to note if you're going to reload until you get the gem make sure you heal first as the moment you reload the tower goes off and hits you for cold damage, ended up having to redo the fight because I wasn't paying 1000 gold to revive anyone.
