What is the blue dot/octagon stand for on equipment.

It won't let me says file too big but I think it may mean it adds that much mana.

It's mana.

ah, yes. The blue dot with a number. It is mana indeed, you can check by looking at your character sheet, equip and unequip. Same method goes with everything, btw

Probably the confusion comes from him being playing a warrior/rogue and equipping one of the few items out there equippable by everyone that also grants mana (so he sees no mana bar)
