EMP and shock damage

So I noticed that EMP Shock damage can be triggered against non-robot foes as well; the Wiki simply says "massive shock damage", no number range. Anyone know what the numbers on that would be?
Also, it's only the small batteries that trigger EMP, right? Not the large batteries?

Correct about the batteries. Not sure how the damage is calculated. That may be a David question.
