Not sure as I haven't played a female char that far yet, but maybe you need to be male just like for the Princess of the Sea quest? Ofcourse that'd be only if you are playing a female character.

Alternatively I imagine you need to actually choose the correct options up until that point aswell and it wont appear immediatly as one of the first options (haven't actually got the achiev myself yet).

Ah! So that option might limited to a female character, that's why the achievement is titled as "Drama Queen". Too bad, in old times males play female roles quite often in a drama, thought my character could give it try~

It is not limited to gender, but you need to have done one of certain quests to be able to narrate some epic deeds in the stage. Killing a dragon, the Troll King, the Lich in Inori, solving Web of Terror, maybe others I don't remember now.

I see, that's unfortunate, my character is almost level 12 but haven't yet finished the first letter quest, whoever the guy waiting for me is must having boredom

Btw, is Hirge's companionship a hard require to trigger the joining quest of The Three? If so I guess I'll just leave it there, I don't want companions, even for a brief. If we can trigger the quest by talking to the imperial priest after Hirge is back that would be great.

You need Hirge with you in New Garand to do it
Then it will be left there, no wonder most cleric builds joined Warrior's Guild, The Three offers less, requires more :|

Why do you not want companions? Are you challenging yourself? Even if you are it's worth just having Hirge join you and follow you to the temple, then just dismiss her once you have the dialogue to start the quest.

Neither, I was planning my next playthrouhgh as a cleric, and finish as many as quests possible before doing the initiate letter quest, when it is finished every companions that joined will be level 11 or higher, but this requires to join a faction as soon as possible to learn some advanced skills, and forcing Hirge to be your companion to join The Three renders this play style impossible.

Even for roleplaying, you can finish all the quests you get from shrines, raise your reputation to Trusted in The Three, yet you still can't ask for joining them instead you are forced to take Hirge, that's neither immersive nor right, to me at least.

Your first paragraph is very confusingly worded. I'm not entirely sure what you meant. Why do you want to complete as many quests as possible solo before doing the letter quest? What do you mean by companions being level 11? Yes they level up if you don't have one follow you but not as fast as if they actually follow you around. And what does getting advanced skills have to do with companions either?

Are you simply saying you don't want to use companions? If so, what I suggested literally has no impact on XP or even roleplaying. You literally ask Hirge to follow you, walk 10 steps to the temple, agree with her dialogue and then dismiss her immediately. Regardless of weather you have the companions sit idle after completing their quests or ignore them until after the letter quest they will gain XP. The only difference is they will have less levels than if they followed you around.
