Disappearing Ancient batteries

Fun game y'all! I'ma beta tester about to finish the main story quest in the ark, but this glitch keeps making my ancient batteries disappear from my storage. Every time I collect my 3rd battery they disappear and I have have to recollect. Any thoughts?

Wich weapon do you use? For example

Has an EMP attribute, they use the batteries

8% base chance + 4% per rank to spend an Ancient Battery and deal 40-60 shock damage in addition to weapon damage (plus paralyze Robots)

I was also confused first and asked the same question

You can put them in your bag of holding, that way they won't be used

It's an awesome boost if you collect enough batteries. I had about 2 stacks of them while searching for automatic gloves.

But yes it is confusing, first I thought also it was a glitch

Ya oh my god! I was trying to get 5 to make a large battery yesterday and they just kept disappearing i was so confused!!! Now that i read this i remember reading the swords attributes. Oh life and your weirdness.

If you're trying to save batteries, you can slip them into your bag of holding (they won't get used there).

I didnt realized it at the time... definitely be better when i hit 26
