Deep Cauldron and the third shard

Hi guys,
sorry (and ashamed) to bother you all with this question. I have searched the area of "Northwest Sagar Forrest" where "Deep Cauldron" is supposed to be to get the third shard but I haven't found it. Am I in the right area? Does anyone know if there are more than Three shards to collect in the game at this time?

atm there are only three shards available.

Your are in the right area, but you have to enter Gorx Lair and then go further to the Deep Cauldron.
