You can imagine the sadness I felt when I realised I couldn't wield that dagger as a Cleric. Maybe David thought that it would make AB Might too powerful.

That did make a thought cross my mind, though. While I'm not 100% sure about this, I think that the feature where a Cleric can lose his powers if he displeases The Three isn't in the game yet. It would be interesting if at some point after 1.0 a Cleric would have a sub-class to it, a Dark Paladin or something. If you lose your divine powers, you automatically become ''corrupted'' and they are replaced with darker, more selfish versions. Heal Wounds, for example, could leech companion's health, or a portion of enemy's, but require less mana. It would be pretty good for roleplaying, too.

That being said, I'm not even sure if it's a thing in the lore of EK.

Class description of the Cleric specifies if you go against The Three you can lose your powers... but nothing more yet... I can confirm that something is in the works by David... but not what it will be... David went a different direction for this update set... so we are not getting up to Ilmara yet...

Yeah, what Aalandryll said. Here's hoping that losing Cleric's powers will provide some interesting mechanic in the future and diversify the class even more.
