Dead god quest - Crown of Tol

After some time, I was able to find and get Crown of Tol, but whom to give it? In forgotten temple I found tombstone with very long text, but I was not able to find to whom to retrieve the crown.

After I got crown, I tried to bring it to that tombstone, but no change. Currently I try to carry it to mercian tomb, but hard to say. Because already opened gates brought some items, but nothing special (for any quest), if I remember correctly.

Or the tombstone but I think you need to pass an int check of 4

So I found the crown of tol .. I see you say theirs an altar or the old man ... But also the place you find the crown has a few hidden doors one with a tombstone ... Talks of a place where I found the God tol.... The face in the sand in the iron desert ,o. He will take the crown from you also.. tol is alive oh an don't make him mad ... I did an he snapped his fingers an bam I was dead ahhahaha lol.. good luck

1. you can keep it, though it deals around 12 rough damage every 2-3 seconds, don't know. It's death damage so it's affected by resistance (around 80 it deals 4, around 110 it deals 3 per tick)
2. You can deliver it to bisbop arandir, in exchange of his imminent death and a ring (it's rather good, nice bonus, bishop ring iirc)
3. You can find TOL himself, still demihuman, in great inori desert. You should sinply aplroach that big face in the sand. There i think you can have two different approaches: attack Tol, but i guess he's rather invincible, or give it to him, for a huge amount of exp (but useless imho, not worth all the other rewards)

i honestly still don't know what to do with the crown. keep it for incoming wizard companion or give it to bishop for the ring? Big deal

By "tol ending", are you refering to givig the crown to the god in that room in desert?? Or do you mean any quest ending? Because I gave it to the Bishop, he died and I received just a ring, no skill point.
And, by the way, after entering the dead god's room, Grissenda didnt went with me, I had no way out (scroll didnt work), and every single option in the dialogs resulted in instant death. Maybe because of my rogue's lack of int or personality points, but fact is that I needed to do all the travels and fights again, from Freetown to the boatman , then to forgoten temple, and etc, just hecause the player id thrown into a trap. This kind of trap on iron man mode, its OK, but on normal mode, its quite annoying...

Int,5, awr, 5 , an 4 I think lol... But you should be able to give to tol just watch ur answers... Theirs no special text
When he ask why a loving man brings say the others feared him cuase they drink void an stouf... Hope this helps... But I'm holding on to it for now think the creator of game has other things you can do with in the making...

Write answers he will take it an you return
To safely to the top again .. an yes tol pulls you down
An no one else is aloud... I am playing on normal..
An yes once ur down thiers only. Two ways out
Him taking the the crown or you give it to him he
Kills you an you start over... No scrolls won't work
