Dartos' Ring Quest

Is there a predequisite for Dartos' quest. I ask him and he says there is nothing to do, i'm trying to enter the wizards guild.

Not entirely sure, but you might need to have some level of good rep with the Wizard's Guild? Maybe? I vaguely remember not being able to get that quest until I had done some of the other Enclave quests, but maybe I'm misremembering that part.

Are you able to teleport from his enclave? Check your reputation. Maybe you didn't complete "The Mad Wizard."

That's strange. There shouldn't be any prerequisite for Outstanding Apprentice to my knowledge. Are you sure you haven't done the quest already, maybe some time ago? Check your journal for completed quests.

If Dartos is telling you he has nothing to do, either you've done the quest already or you declined it? If there was a level requirement, you get told that right off the bat.

Double check you haven't completed it already?
