Cost of searching in the Loreseeker Library?

I finished with all the available quests or I think so, but there is one thing I haven't put to an end:

In the Loreseeker Library the manager, Rura'zar or what's his name asks some money but my answer in the conversation is always: Nevermind. So I suppose I don't have enough money to pay him for the access. Once I tried it with 33000 golds but no success... Does any of you know how much to pay for him?

I don't know whether my question is a spoiler or not so hid it.

He never asks for money, you must be mistaken.

So what he says: "The Library rules say that I have to ask for some payment, however." it means he is talking about something else but money?

Then I have to think it over what he wants, hmm.

The thing is, if you have just started the "A key to the past" and "where is amarisa" quests, you get more dialogue options. If he already researched both for you, you only see the "nevermind" one. I modified the dialogue to make it clearer on next update.

Okay thanks now it's clear! The point is that I haven't missed anything
