Companion Tomes?!?

Does anyone use tomes for trait points on companions ever or only on self? I know for the good ending you end up needing high traits in several categories, however does anyone give any to companions?

So far I have never given one Tome to a companion is that bad, lol?

I doing it before but I realized it is not worth it if you're going to stop playing a character after reaching level 25, sure it is fun to use it on companion especially for a caster Cleric.

For me, companions are only meatshields, so there is no need to buffer them and I use them just for me. Maybe it will change if David gives companions advanced skills (planned for 1.2)

About the good ending, that's not much of a problem! You can use items to temporarily buff your traits and get the needed points. Besides, the good ending is boring! You should fight the horror (at least once), therefore you don't need much trait points
