Is there any way after you give battle commands to cause your companion to revert to the original default behavior? It seems like none of the presented options fits what they originally do.

Each command has a counter command that resets the Companion to the standard set. Wait here is paired with follow me again, and the different attack options (everyone, those that are close, those that attack first, no one) can be rotated.

Can you explain that a bit more? How exactly did they behave after recruiting them the first time? I never paid any attention to this, but probably their natural AI setting is indeed different.

It's hard to specifically quantify but in the case of the warrior, she was a bit more responsive. Right now I have her set to attack enemies close to her because attacking everything in sight was way too aggressive based on her reactions to any mob visible. I also didn't want her to only attack in her own defense or to not attack at all. It's like there should be another option called default which simply resets the companion to the original state.

By the way, I think dismissing and adding them again does reset the behavior but it's not terribly convenient to fetch her from Kingsbridge every time.
