Cloud error

Since yesterday, I am noticing Im unable to import or export my save games to the cloud (and yes, I am conected to google play - I use to play the game on two devices, both properly conected).
The message the game shows on both devices are the same, as follows:

"The operation failed. Error code:1"

And when I play another online game, it works OK... Weird...

Sorry for the bump, but I really want to hear if I am the only one facing this problem...

Error code 1 is an authentication error. This might be because you have been logging on/off with different google account or profiles, maybe? Try disconnecting from GPGS and connecting again, also try a device restart.

Thanks, David. I'll check it out.

Edit: David, no success at all.
I turned both phones off, nothing; I disconnected both phones from the Google Play Games, nothing; I tried each device while the other was off, nothing; I tried messing with my Google account, reconfigured it many times, on each device, nothing.
I made a local backup of my saves (ek.bkp), and reinstall the game, then (before localy restoring), I tried loading the cloud again, and this time it showed "Error code:9", instead of "Error code:1".

I simply give up. I will use the old method (emailing myself with the ek.bkp file), while there is no fix for this issue.
