in icy areas the cold wind damages the character, whereas in the desert the heat does not damage it should do some damage to the character.

Moved to Feedback.
BLIZZARDS damage the character in the same way poison clouds damage the character.
You can safely stand in the snow all day so long a icy blizzard or enemies doesn't attack you.
Also the snow areas were added years after the first desert area so progression of game mechanics.

Blizards are only in very cold outdoor areas: white plains and icemist fjord. And what will deal fire damage in deserts? All sand you can walk on, flames or eternal explosive fireballs?

Sandstorms: they might not burn you alive, but they can leave grits in your bits

Actually Sandstorms that slowed your movement could be quite interesting if you were being surrounded by hostiles.

Yeah, it's interesting, the main effect of sandstorm will be slowing. They may also deal a bit of physic damage, maybe, quickly.

That would be awesome like a Sandstorm in East Inori? Or by certain days like Monday, Fridays or Saturdays something like that or by time checks? 5:00 P.M? Maybe or in early morn

David should implement a SANDSTORM damage algorithm, based on sand and air temperature, wind velocity, sun intensity by time of day, resulting in a DPS score (Damage Per Sand) substracting of course the hero's clothing and armor's coeficient of abrasion resistance based on material and color (metal and dark fabrics get hotter). Obviously David will need to take into account length of sunlight exposition and risks of skin cancer, plus dehydration and sodium levels. Unless Muud'ari have a superior immune system and water retention capacity. We'll need full Muud'ari genetic specs asap to make sure.

Please tell David we need this update by tomorrow morning.

;)
